I got the chance to make a couple of cards yesterday. I don't know why these particular challenges caught my eye but I felt compelled to make cards for them. The first one is for
The Heart Desires.
I was inspired by the sunflowers in the photo and turned the daisy stamp by Altenew into one. Distress Inks were my color of choice and I had to throw in a few splatters. I wasn't sure I liked them at first but they're growing on me.
ETA: This card won the challenge at The Heart Desires.
Florals seem to be one of my favorite cards to make and so to follow the sunflower we have a mum, inspired by this gorgeous photo of one at
Inspired by All the Little Things.
The flower from Tim Holtz was embossed in gold and colored with DIs.
