There were so many ways to go with this last CAS(E) This Sketch. I planned to combine it with an ombre challenge but missed that deadline. Had I known I might have gone a different way but I still like the card.
I started out by color washing two pieces of watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio. using one to cut the word die, numerous times. The panel was splattered with plain water and then with Black Soot. The words were placed in the opposite order which (duh) means the middle one is on it's own shade. There's no way around that I guess. The word die and all the little sentiments are from SSS.
I think Mother Nature likes to tease us. It's a beautiful day today but I'm afraid it won't last long. We have to take advantage of it while we can. I'm sure a lot of people are putting up their Christmas lights today.
Thanks for dropping by.

This is so pretty! Love the 3 greetings!
Wonderful card, Bobby! AND I happen to like that middle "tone on tone"!
Amazing card, beautiful inspiration! I love the ombre color and convex sentiments. It looks great.

LOve that cracked Pistachio = probably adding it to the list [of the shopping variety] =] Thanks for adding this darling to our CTS gallery, Bobby! I'm with TK on this one ...

Love the fresh green shades on your card! The inverted ombre on the background and the die-cuts looks fabulous! And the black splatters, too :)!
Beautiful, clever, wonderful love it.
Love how you swapped the colour order of the sentiments - I noticed that right away. This makes me realize I need to give more attention to my Cracked Pistachio ink!
Gorgeous, Bobby ... love the ombré ... love the repeated sentiment ... love the tone on tone in the middle! Hugs, Anita :)
