CASology #223

My church has a telephone prayer chain, a prayer group that meets at a local bakery every Wednesday morning and a prayer shawl ministry.  On Sunday a member presented us with a challenge to make care bags for eight people in the local nursing home who have no family.  I ended up making prayer cards for each of them.  You could say prayer is a team endeavor so I made another of the cards for the challenge at CASology - cue word TEAM.
Taylored Expressions die, Altenew Spicy Yogurt and Neenah Desert Storm papers
I must admit I didn't glue all those little hearts in the other eight cards I made but the CASness of this card called for a little color.

I'm off today to watch my granddaughters dance in Hansel and Gretel this afternoon. This will be the last time they will be in a production together since Anneka will graduate from high school next spring.  It's always a joy to see these beautiful girls dance.

Your prayer ministry sounds wonderful; a group of people coming together to bring "light" into those who need love and caring. Speaks highly to just how incredible a person YOU are to be part of such an enterprise (and how blessed I am to have you in my life!). Your 'team' card is perfect for the challenge and, especially, for the people receiving them. How wonderful you to watch your granddaughters dance...so much talent running through your family...and so much love!

What a lovely idea-prayer cards. For Lent I gave bookmarks with Bible verses on one side and suggested my Bible study group write prayer needs on the other. I would be interested in seeing your prayer card design. Thank you.

Great ministries to be a part of, and your contribution will be loved, I'm sure! Great die -- I just love that it definitely says team, and prayers are answered where two or more come together...

This design is so unique Bobby. And the prayer chain is definitely depicted in this card. Love the CASness of the design. The pops of red add lots of colour. Great job!!

I bet the dance recital was wonderful. So special that you can be there to see them dance. xx
