One of my favorite designers is guesting at The Flower Challenge and that meant I had to CASE Therese Calvird's card.
Isn't it lovely? I don't have any of the elements she used but I did manage to take inspiration from her card and make this one.
I stamped the coneflowers from Altenew's Smile More on Bristol and colored them with Zigs, I saw this technique by Julie Ebersole that helped me get the dies in place to cut a top panel that I popped up with foam. Try as I might I could not get an ombre-look stamped sentiment so I colored a scrap of vellum with my Zig, heat embossed the sentiment in white, and die cut the outline.
I'm so glad you dropped by today. I hope your day is going well.

Such a pretty color on those coneflowers, Bobby. I love the real-life look you've given them - the colors are perfect! And I like what you did with your sentiment. My attempts with an ombre look didn't work either. I totally cheated. But your card is so sweet. I just love this! Bev
Her's is ever so lovely and yours is TOO!! The color on your blooms is fabulous Bobby!

Delicate and lovely, Bobby ... there's a gorgeous transluscence about your colouring on those fabulous blooms ... love how you've set them into the negative space! Hugs, Anita :)
