CAS Watercolor and The Flower Challenge.

I guess we didn't leave the state soon enough.  It's snowing.  I hope it clears up so the roads are travel worthy when we leave Friday.  Three weeks without card making.  Can I take it?  We'll see how bad the withdrawal is. ;)  I will get a chance to catch up with some books that have been gathering dust though.  I will have a couple of cards to post before I go including this one for CAS Watercolor and The Flower Challenge.
CAS Watercolor is looking for Spring cards and when I think of Spring I think of the cherry blossoms in Washington DC.  I used a  PB stamp in gray on Bristol and then colored them with Zigs.  A few white and brown dots were added to the centers and a HLS sentiment was stamped in the same gray.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you are in the wake of the snowstorm, please stay safe.

This is such a Spring-like card, Bobby! Cherry blossoms really do hail the start of warmer weather, and yours are lovely! They're watercolored perfectly; it's like they're waving in a light breeze. Hope your travels go well, and you could always be like Carol and pack a mobile crafting unit...Just saying.... : ) Bev

PS I couldn't do it, I would have to take something at least to build up coloured images. You are sooo strong

Cherry Blossoms are a sign of spring here as well. We have LOTS of these beautiful trees throughout Vancouver and the rest of the Lower Mainland. You're colouring is just amazing on these blooms, Bobby. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour. And have a safe trip! xx

Have a wonderful break, Bobby ... this is a very pretty good-bye. I'm not home much, at the moment - but you'll have your cell phone so we can catch up soon... xx
Travel safely, and have fun...

Sorry - I meant to say "thanks for joining us at CAS Watercolour" - I'm on both design teams and sometimes forget which challenge I'm commenting on!!

Wow Bobby, I would never have thought to stamp flowers in gray, it looks absolutely gorgeous. And the little details on the middle of the flowers make all the difference. I hope its stopped snowing for you finally and you can get outside. Or you could just stay inside and make some more of these beautiful cards. Always fabulous to see you at The Flower Challenge!
