CAS(E) This Sketch #241

CAS(E) This Sketch is into recycling.  They're bringing back some old sketches once a month and this time it's #23.  I didn't start playing along until about #85 so I've never used this one.
I went back and forth for several days trying to think of something new, especially for the angled stripes.  Then I remembered an old die that hadn't been used in years and used it to emboss.
That garland die is from PTI.  I cut one CF snowflake from silver mirror and one from glitter paper.  I used the same silver paper to border the sentiment from CF that is embossed in Silver Glitter.  It looks more like gold in this photo.  Here's another one but it's not much better.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

Hi Bobby!! What a beautiful design. I always forget you can emboss with dies. I've never done it, but I have that little rubber mat. I really like this card.

It is magical, and I LOve what magical things happen with a little die-embossing: love the added texture, and interest it gives, Bobby! Thanks for joining us for Retro CTS!

So beautiful!! I never think to use a die to emboss, and this is just so stunning. I'm going to try it for sure. And then that one gorgeous snowflake is perfect.

Echoing the others in praising how magical your card is! The die-embossing is lovely; something I need to remember to do more often! And that snowflake: shimmer sensational!
