Merry Monday #259

I depend on Merry Monday to help me get my Christmas cards done.  This week they want to see a Christmas tree on a card.  The difficulty is choosing which tree to use.
I decided to go non-traditional and use the bottle trees from EE.  I cut a square frame, stamped a sentiment from the set and stenciled snow with glitter paste.  While it was drying I stamped the trees, masking off the bottoms to stamp later in black.  I added some gray to the bases and when that wasn't enough I added more stenciled snow to the top and glued glitter to and around the trees.  The top panel is popped up on fun foam.

I'm so excited!  Michele is coming today!!! We'll be doing some sharing of crafty supplies so stay tuned to what we make with each others stash.

I'm so glad you dropped by.  It would be nice if you could drop in in person too.

Fabulous Christmas card, Bobby!! I love the colors you've chosen for your trees and all that sweet, glittery snow you've surrounded them with. So pretty!! And you get to craft with Michele today??!!! Lucky girl!!! I know the two of you are going to have a fun and productive day. If my broom wasn't in the shop, I'd fly over the big lake and join you, lol!! Enjoy your day. Bev

If they could ALL see this in person, they'd know how truly beautiful it is, Bobby! Thanks so much for sharing your fun stash - now to finish all of those projects I came home with! My heart, and tummy was made very happy spending the day with you ... of course Tom was sorry to have missed the pizza! xx

How lucky you and Michele are to spend time crafting, chatting and snacking together! I'm with Bev: one of these days I'll point my 'broom' your way and tag along! Your bottle brush trees are lovely, as is the way you showcased them! I have similar images; you've certainly given me incentive and inspiration to give them a play!
