The Paper Players #381

I haven't played at The Paper Players in a loooong time but when I saw on Kim's blog that the challenge was sewing related I decided to pull out some old neglected stamps and make a card.
The buttons and card they are on are from PTI and the other paper has a pattern image on it.  I die cut the buttons from coaster board, then again from pearl paper that I ran through my Xyron, and put them together.  I don't know why my Xyron (I have two - big and little) has been neglected either.  It made it so easy to stick those little pieces together.  The tiny attacher stapled them to the card just like they used to be.  The difficult part was coming up with a sentiment but I liked this one from CPD.

Now that I've found them again, I hope to enter more of The Paper Players challenges.

I was SO hoping someone would pull out this Vintage Button card and use it for the challenge, and here it is! * was contemplating using this one myself! Such pretty colors AND buttons...and a sweet sentiment to go with them! Thanks for playing with my sewing-themed challenge at the Paper Players this week!

My Mom had a collection of carded buttons like these - don't I wish I had them now! Yours are so lifelike, I was surprised to read you'd made them! Bobby this is such a darling card!

I love the direction you took for this challenge! A button card! Now that's clever, as is the way you've made your buttons. Clean and simple, yet so delightful. This is just a fun card, Bobby!! Have a great weekend. Bev

Gosh, this took me back, Bobby ... to an old haberdasher's lined with wooden drawers that were filled with such delights ... such a great place to explore and get lost in! Brilliant card ... so perfectly put together! Hugs, Anita :)
