Just Us Girls #453 - Trend Week

Yes it's trend week at Just Us Girls and our host Sue had picked this:
This is really easy and you'll find a link to Jennifer McGuire's video on how to do it on the Just Us Girls blog.
I stamped the EbyE mondo hydrangea and leaves on watercolor paper with VersaGray ink and embossed it with pearl powder which gave it a pewter look.  I rubbed Distress Ink in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Shaded Lilac randomly on the flower and Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn on the leaves, then sprayed liberally with water that contained Perfect Pearls and let dry naturally.  If only you could see the shine.   The sentiment from PTI was embossed the same way.

Ros Crawford is our guest this month and she and the rest of the team have some beautiful watercolor cards using this method.  I hope you'll check them out and then join us in the gallery.

Would you believe I STILL don't have perfect pearls? well, except in purple - hey, that might work here!
Bobby you've used my favorite hydrangea of all - beautifully water colored!

What a stunner, Bobby ... fantastic dimension with that quick watercolouring ... I'm imagining how gorgeous the shimmer and shine is! Each time I see this gorgeous hydrangea, it inches a little further up my wish book ... thank you for moving it up a whole heap of notches! Hugs, Anita :)
