Addicted to CAS #154

Stephanie has chosen this as our Code Word for the Addicted to CAS just before St. Patrick's Day.
I didn't do the obvious though because I have no stamps or need for a St. Paddy's day card.  Instead I played with Brushos and made a sympathy card.
I must admit I'm not great with Brushos.  I either get them too wet or not wet enough.  Or maybe I'm just too impatient to let the colors develop.  I ended up painting over the leaves with all those wet powders that I also used to spatter the card.  That is such a skinny stem that I had to cut another branch from green paper and glued the painted one down on top only along the center.  The sentiment is from My Craft Spot (OOB).

The Design Team has a variety of cards featuring the color green, including two guest designers Beate and Claire.  Take a peek at those and let inspiration lead you to entering a card in the challenge.

  1. Gorgeous leaves, Bobby! I have trouble getting the Brushos just right too. It looks like using the liquid colors gave you wonderful rich colors.

  6. This is gorgeous, Bobby. I love that bed of spatters those magnificent leaves are resting on. What a beautiful sentiment. So appropriate for a variety of situations. I just love it.
