CAS Mix-Up and CAS Watercolor

I got out my Brushos to make a colorful butterfly for CAS Watercolor which is being hosted by Marcia.
When the Brusho panel was dry I stamped and die cut the HLS butterfly.  I added a frame from SSS, some splatters and a sentiment from PTI.

I'm not very good with Brushos.  In fact you could say I'm rather messy.  This time it worked to my advantage because the paper towel I used to sop up my mess was perfect for the CAS Mix-up challenge hosted by Loll.  I've seen Loll do her paper towel magic before (there are a couple of videos on the blog) and I even did it once before.  This time the colors told me exactly what to do.
I glued the paper towel to some cardstock, stamped the Altenew poinsettia and die cut it - the three things required for a card.

Thanks for another couple of fun challenges, ladies.

What stunning cards, both of them and a great way to use the mop up paper towel on your second card. The effect is so unique and so artsy and I love it....Thank you for joining in The CAS Mix Up Challenge with this stunner x.

WOW! Your colours from your brushos as so vibrant and beautiful Bobby! LOVE that gorgeous, colourful butterfly. The black framing and splatters are just perfect finishing touches! And your paper towel leaves are AMAZING!! Gorgeous colours that look amazing with the stamped and die-cut leaves. Great work! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour and CAS Mix Up! xx

Your Brushos make a gorgeous butterfly, Bobby! I love it with the splatters and thin frame. It's a beautiful way to say "thinking of you". The paper towel transfer worked beautifully for the poinsettia! The colors are perfect and I love the texture that transferred! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour and CAS Mix Up!

The balance between the delicate butterfly and the bold black on your first card is fabulous, Bobby, it's lovely ... the 'left over' variegated colour on your texture-y paper towel poinsettia is gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
