Inkspirational #197

This may not be what the girls at Inkspirational had in mind when they posted the inspiration photo but this is what occurred to me in my flurry of making Christmas cards.
I incorporated the colors into Christmas ornaments from STAMPlorations with Distress Inks then added a blue background in a watery/stormy sort of way.  If I had to do it over again I would have mixed the colors a little differently and I may try another one just to see.

Thanks for dropping by.  I'm so glad you did.

Well Bobby I love to see different takes on photo challenges-they are my fav! I chose this photo as could see there are many ways of going with it but Xmas was not one-what an inspiration and wish I had this idea. I love you incorapated the water wash as a nod to the photo and all the colours on the baubles-I think it is perfect as it is-no need to do again and we are so pleased how much you support us at Ink x

Wouldn't you love to see a shoreline filled with these jewel-toned stones, Bobby? You picked all the best colors from them for your ornaments - beautiful!

Wonderful card -- great inspiration using the colors from the gorgeous rocks! I think the "stormy" background is pretty realistic considering what's moving across the midwest...
