The Flower Challenge #45

It's time for the next The Flower Challenge and the theme this month is
For my card the second color depended on what happened with the technique I decided to use.
I used bleach on navy cardstock, stamped and clear heat embossed with flowers from MFT.  It bleached out to a kraft-like color so I cut the panel with a stitched rectangle and mounted it on some Desert Storm cardstock.  There were a couple of spots that looked irregular so I added the sequins and I'm almost sorry I did although they look better IRL.  Speaking of sorry, I figured this would make a great sympathy card.

The Design Team and our guest Jenny Hall are ready to show you their navy cards so head on over to take a peek and be inspired.  We'd love to see your card in our gallery.

As beautiful as I think your card is, I'm still resisting that bleaching technique, Bobby … you know how you drip a drop of bleach onto the laundry and three months later those clothes have holes in them? I'm wondering what will happen to the card stock?
It sure is beautiful though … I may have to test it! lol

The bleaching worked great on the navy cardstock! The shading on the petals look beautiful and the light creme color gives the card a calm and warm look!
