Twofer Challenge #30

I don't have any sun or moon stamps and that is the prompt for this month's Twofer Challenge.  But I do have circle dies and used one of them for a mask to make moons for my two different cards for two different occasions.

The first card is just to make someone smile.

I placed my circle mask , then inked the background with Distress Inks, trying to make an aurora borealis. It would have worked better using Oxide inks ( I didn't bring them with me) but you get the idea.  The little bear is from MFT and the iceberg from a friend. Both are watercolored with DIs.

The next card was also made with Distress Inks, using the same moon mask.

I added the sand dunes and fence from PTI and then wondered what sentiment to use.  I thought it would make a good sympathy card and used a sentiment also from PTI.

I'm trying to get my craft supplies organized in my new living quarters and since it's small I have things here and there.  It works fairly well but I don't like to drag things out every day so I'll probably just do sporadic crafting when the weather dictates. Or when I get the itch.

Thanks for dropping by.

These are both wonderful cards Bobby. My favorite is the sympathy card. What a beautiful scene and sky you've created!

You were not only very creative with these two fantastic cards, Bobby, you were really tapping into the atmospheric vibes on both! Your DI aurora borealis looks awesome to me behind that silly grinning bear! He should turn around and enjoy the view! I think you've created a wonderful misty sky over the water on your sympathy card. It's brilliant and I love the sand and fence in the foreground. Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #30! Keep well and enjoy the rest of summer! Hugs, Darnell

I am in awe of both of your scenes, Bobby! I love the Northern lights shining behind that wonderful polar bear - that really makes me smile! The somber look of the moonlight on the water makes a perfect sympathy card. Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

These cards really are an inspiration. My mom always said, "make do with what you've got," and these cards illustrate that lesson waaay above and beyond! You've given that little floating polar bear an incredible moon, behind an even more incredible aurora borealis. I miss seeing that in our sky - too far south to see it anymore! This card is a great way to send a happy hello! That could be the beach just down the bluff by my house. It's a comforting scene both in real life, and on your card - there's nothing quite like a moon over the water, and the sound of the waves lapping the shore. Beautiful card, Bobby. Perfect way to use your moons. Love them! Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Sending hugs. Stay safe. xo Bev

These cards really stand out in the gallery. I love them especially the sympathy card with that wonderful misty watery sky and amazing reflections on the water. Your aurora borealis works really well too, wonderful colour xx
