Twofer Challenge #32 - Silhouettes

I made a card for a challenge when I saw that I hadn't followed the prompt correctly.  Not to worry.  I made another card based on it and had my entries into the Twofer Challenge.

For the blue card I taped off a strip along the side, inked it with Twisted Citron, Weathered Wood and Faded Jeans Distress Inks and stamped the flower from MFT's silhouettes.  The sentiment is from PB Snippets.
The other card used Scattered Straw, Abandoned Coral and Dusty Concord Distress Inks.  I stamped the bottom with a PB background stamp and then added the flowers.
I thought the sentiment from The Ton was a little play on words considering the bird on the branch. The occasions are not that different but I took them from the sidebar of the blog.

Thanks for dropping by.

Your blending is beautiful in both the cool green and blue hues and the warm sunset colors of your silhouette cards, Bobby! I love that little wildflower; it's like a little firecracker on a stem! And I love your play on words with your bird sending just a note! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

Bobby, what a gorgeous silhouette this is! Focusing on just one little piece of it was truly the way to go for a 'thinking of you' card! I can almost hear your red-winged blackbird's note!

These are beautiful, Bobby. That strip, inked in blues and greens, has so much depth and yet it's perfectly CAS. It's gorgeous. And speaking of gorgeous, that 'note' card is stunning with that incredible background. I like your sweet play on words with the bird and sentiment, too! And if you ask me, those are two different occasions for sure! I've been sending 'note' cards to a couple of my granddaughters who wanted a pen pal, and I make TOY cards for those people who need that extra special pick-me-up. I love these cards, my friend. Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe. xoxo Bev

I love how all the white space makes the blue panel really stand out and the gorgeous sunset colors on the second card are breathtaking! I love how you combined the stamps and the sentiment is perfect with that little bird!

Beautiful! Lovely ink blending, and the sentiment on the one is oh-so fitting!

Sigh ... such luscious ink blending, Bobby! The single bloom is so delicate and pretty against the yummy blue/greens ... and how gorgeous is all that crisp white space! Your second card positively glows with those warm autumnal shades ... the silhouette scene is just lovely ... and the play on words with the singing bird is so fun! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
