Let's Squash It! #2 and Christmas Kickstart #42

How nice of Let's Squash It! and Christmas Kickstart to have the exact same challenge.  We're using a Christmas embossing folder with a stamp.

I chose the Pine Needles folder from Richard Garay.  I inked the folder with a couple of Distress Oxides on a brayer (ala Jennifer McGuire),  trimmed the panel and added the pine cones from Altenew and a sentiment from Penny Black.

I made several different panels while I had my brayer out so now I just have to make them into cards.  I checked my Christmas card stash and figure I need about 20 more in the next couple of weeks to have enough to send out the first part of December.

Thanks for dropping by.  I love it when you do.

This gorgeous number hadn't hit my inbox yet, Bobby!! Oh my goodness, this is so beautiful - if this is 'on the same wavelength' I'll stay there!

p.s. Do you remember that we were shopping together at Hobby Lobby when you bought yours? xx

This is simply beautiful. You really nailed that Jennifer technique. I tried it and didn't get a good result like you did. I love that soft green, really makes the pine cones pop. Gorgeous card, my friend!
