Twofer Challlenge #34

Fortunately for me this month's Twofer Challenge is one I can do from my snowbird home.  I didn't bring many stamps with me but I always have flowers and that is their prompt.

I used Positive Vibes from Altenew thinking we can always use some of those these days although I only used one of the sentiments.

I spent an afternoon making a whole bunch of the flowers in different colors and decided on the orange ones for my encouragement card
I took four of the images and placed them around the edges, cutting off the overlap.  The birthday card uses two of the flower bouquets in pink.
I embossed the background with the Subtle folder and added the Sunny Studio sentiment on an Altenew label die.

Bonnie Klass recently joined the Twofer Challenge Design Team.  Congrats, Bonnie!  I also got a chance to meet and have lunch with her and husband Bruce on our way down to our winter residence in NC. It is always such fun connecting in person with our blog friends.

Thanks for dropping by.  I hope you have a chance to meet some of your crafty friends.

It was fun to meet and I hope we can do it again one day when you can spend more time. Maybe in my studio? Love these gorgeous flowers in orange and in pink! What a wonderful sentiment on the first card! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

Lucky girl Bobby to meet Bonnie in person!! And to be in NC, too! Love that part of the US, especially around Raleigh. Your flowers are a delight and I can see that I will have to do a little shopping from Altenew soon, lol! Love the way you've framed your card base with those pretty orange flowers on your encouragement card. It's really pretty and has a great sentiment, too. The pink bouquet you've created for your birthday card is lovely, and that EF is magnificent. Two fabulous cards, my friend. Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay safe. Sending hugs. Bev

I'm so glad you had flowers with you, Bobby, because you rocked my Twofer world with your two beautifully colored designs and perfectly chosen sediments! I love the way you used the flowers in oranges as a border on your encouragement design and as a leading lady in pink on your second birthday design! I love the linen background texture and the way the sediment panel acts as a vase on the birthday card.

Isn't Bonnie so real and an absolute hoot?! I'm delighted you two got a chance to meet and, as I well know, there wasn't enough time together, right? When you meet bloggie friends in person, it seems like you've known each other for years because we "talk" nearly ever week via our blogs!

Thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #34! Take care and be safe! Hugs, Darnell

Two beautiful cards. Love your pretty coloring. The oranges flowers around the border on the encouragement card are perfect, as is the lovely pink flowers on the birthday card.
I know you had fun meeting Bonnie. She is a dear blogging friend and maybe one day we will meet in person.

These are both gorgeous, Bobby ... so pleased you had some flowers to play with! These lovely blooms make a fabulous frame for the simple (and oh so true) sentiment ... and against the crisp, texture-y background they're so wonderfully soft and CAS! Delicious! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
