CAS Mix-Up August - Stencil

I'm happy to be guest designing for CAS Mix-Up this month.  Here are the parameters for the challenge.

I used one layer of the Argyle stencil by PinkFresh Studio to ink up my panel with CP ink.

Leaving the stencil in place, I used Onyx Black ink on the crackle background stamp from SU.  To keep it CAS, I trimmed down the panel to two rows, leaving me enough to make another card.  I added a couple of blossoms from PFS cut from kraft and a sentiment from Hero Arts.

The CAS Mix-Up Design Team has wonderful inspiration for you.  Take a look and then try out the technique.  We'd love to see your card in the gallery.

Isn't it a hoot that they've invited us both to be guest designers, and we didn't even know it?? LOve your card, Bobby - much more CAS than mine! But I really enjoyed the technique!

Brilliant texture you've created for you Guest Design slot at CAS Mix Up. The design provides lots of white space with all those crackin' good lines among those soft, soothing colors. Then you added one of my favorite diecuts to top it off...fabulous.

I love this and am pinning. It's a great design for a simple sympathy card or something quick. It's gorgeous, that crackle element inside the sponged diamond shapes is GENIUS!!!!
