Inspired By #185 and NBUS #30

I'm away from my big pile of scraps so it took me a while to come up with a card for Inspired By. All I had were some strips of red so I took a cue from the apron and made this card.

Using VersaFine Clair Morning Mist, I stamped the NBUS Statement Flowers from Altenew on white cardstock in my MISTI.  Leaving the stamp in place, I glued down the strips and stamped again, adding the sentiment from the same set.

Here's the inspiration photo:

Since the flowers are NBUS I'm sending my card there too.

Thanks for dropping by.

Well, geez, stamping the flower, adding the strips, and stamping again is just brilliant or else I'm an idiot. Don't comment on that, but seriously, I had one of those slap-my-forehead moments. I would have tried to stamp the flower after adding the strips and been frustrated by the paleness of the ink between the strips. Thank you for that lightbulb moment, Bobby, and for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

I was so hoping someone would be inspired by that darling apron, Bobby! You did, and have really made those red and white stripes shine!! Thanks for playing along with your limited scraps - how often do I get to say those words?? Another reason it's great to have a Summer home!
