The Flower Challenge #63 - Reminder

I know it's a busy time of year but we'd love for you to join us for The Flower Challenge.

Our guest Stef Perry and the rest of the Design Team have more cards to inspire you over on the blog.  I hope you'll check them out and take a little time to make a card.  Here's mine.

I tried a new technique for this card.  The Altenew poinsettia die was sent through my die cutting machine with a folded paper towel - four thick. To color it I use TH mica spray and the shine is glorious although it's difficult to see in the photo.  I saw the technique done with watercolor but when I tried that the paper soaked up too much and came apart. Using spray gives the look of fabric.  To finish the card I stamped the PTI sentiment, embossed the panel with the Subtle folder, and added a braided circle die from PinkFresh under the poinsettia.

Thank you so much for all your support and kind comments this year.  Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

You know how much I love this particular Poinsettia, right? I have the paper towels, and the Mica spray! I just might give this a go!
So pretty, and really clever!

This is such a pretty poinsettia and I love the look of it done with paper towel and mica spray! I don't usually like the sprays, but I may need to give this a go. Gorgeous, my friend!

Beautiful card Bobby, was the paper towel instead of plates? I picture my machine jamming if I try with that many? Just out of interest

Love this poinsettia Bobby and the spray. I have never tried paper towels but now I will have to experiment. Beautiful job.
