Just Us Girls #620 - Color Week

We're back to Color Week at Just Us Girls and Ina wants us to make a card using

I could swear that when I first saw the challenge prompt and wrote it on my list it said turquoise, brown and orange.  That means that my finished card has lighter colors than what is shown here.  There's nothing I can do about it now so here is what I did.

The background is from The Stamp Market stamped in Altenew Mocha and bordered with a matching brown scrap in my stash.  Altenew's Fabulous Florets are stamped with their ink.  I needed a little more orange and had some ancient embellishments in that color.  I rarely use embelishments but I love how they look on this card so I might use them more.  A strip of the same brown holds the sentiment from MFT.

Head on over to the blog to see what the Design Team has done with these colors.  If you make a card and are chosen Chic of the Week, you could be one of our future guest designers.

Such a pretty and modern card and I like the three gentle colours you've used and the ancient orange little embellishments look fabulous x.

Turned out terrific, Bobby and I am so glad it's on the lighter side of teal. Make's me feel so much better about mine. LOL It is truly beautiful!

Beautiful! Those flowers are gorgeous, and I love that amazing background. Loving the placement of your sentiment and the added orange embellishments.

Turquoise is light teal in my book, Bobby! These flowers are gorgeous and so is the background!

Beautiful use of the color, Bobby, whether it's a bit lighter or not. I too love those embellishments, almost as much as that fun background

I think there really isn't much difference between shades of turquoise, and shades of teal, Bobby! Besides, these florets are gorgeous no matter which shade you choose - so pretty! LOve the mocha shade of brown, too!
