Altenew Inspiration Challenge - June 2022

I have made myself an unspoken rule that when I win a challenge I play in the next challenge.  I was lucky enough to win Altenew's April Inspiration Challenge with this card, so I have a card today for the June challenge.  I don't know how I missed the May one.

I masked and stamped two of the images from the Hello Beautiful Craft Your Life kit, then colored them with stencils using Puffy Heart and Burnt Red for the flowers and Bamboo and Parrot for the leaves.  I have been having a tough time with sentiments lately. 😞 The one I had stamped on the panel looked awful - squashed letters, fuzzy ink and it didn't really fit the spot.  Okay, now what?  I fussy cut the image and put it all on a panel embossed with the Organic Linen folder and left it sentimentless.  If that's not a word, it is now.  😁

I'm so glad you dropped by.  How is your crafting going?

Congratulations on your win, Bobby! I missed that wonderful news! This card has everything it needs to be a contender, too! Sans sentiment, still beautiful!

I like to leave my cards sentimentless, Bobby! Then it's perfect for whatever occasion I'm looking for and whoever it's for. I keep a stash of sentiment strips on hand to pop on when I'm ready to send it off. Your flowers are gorgeous and the linen background adds wonderful texture to the background!

Congrats on March's win -- and today's card is a beauty! I think this one is perfect without a sentiment to distract the eyes
