Why I never think to use the 'faux' embossing technique is beyond me. It is so easy and gives a great look to your backgrounds, so thank you Group of Seven for highlighting this technique and reminding me of how great it is.
The Privet Die from SSS was cut multiple times from leftover Neenah that is a lighter weight cardstock than what I usually use so the card didn't get too thick. To decorate it, I used Honey Bee's Winter Birds, Winter Greenery and Let Nature Sing sentiment. I have another card in the works that I will add to the gallery when it's finished. Like I said, it's easy and there are so many different dies that can be used.

That's a great idea to die cut from thinner paper for this technique, Bobby! Love the chickadee on the textured background and it's a very mailable card too. Added bonus!
