Just For Fun

You know how crafty friends share things.  Last week my friend Michele made some cards from patterned paper that she saw in a video that was highlighted on Leslie Miller's blog post.  You can click the links to see the video and the cards that Michele and Leslie made.  I decided to try it too.  

Michele and Leslie both had trouble with measurements and while I didn't think I did, I saw after the fact that I hadn't left a space along the diagonal line between patterns.  The difference in prints from the Paper Rose pack might have shown up better with the border but the way I did it fit perfectly on an A2 card. To finish it off I used the smallest SB Modern Oval, stamped a sentiment from PTI and added a leaf from Altenew's Adore You.   

The way you cut the paper gives you enough for a second card.

This one is arranged on Kraft cardstock with the leaf in HA Soft Brown.
