It took me a while to come up with something for Freshly Made Sketches this time. I mulled a lot of things over in my mind before ending up with this Christmas card.
It was the stripes that was giving me fits but I got out a stencil I thought I'd use on another card and once I took a good look I knew it would work for this one. It's Kaleidoscope from PFS that I masked off and heat embossed with gold. The poinsettia is cut from colored cardstock with dies from Spellbinder's Christmas Wonder set and the sentiment from Hero Arts was stamped in dark green.

I see you are starting your Christmas cards - you are better than me...lol. I love this, that sweet poinsettia die set is perfect with the white background. Very dear!!

I love what you ended up with…very clever design!
I like your take on the sketch, Bobby! The embossed elements are wonderful behind that lovely poinsettia!
Lovely direction from the sketch. Love the gold bits.
Lovely take on the sketch. I like how you blocked off parts of the stencil for your stripes. The poinsettia is so pretty.
It does not appear that it gave you fits for long, as this worked out wonderfully! What a nice presentation with the poinsettia upon the "stripes"
CAS and absolutely perfect Bobby! I love how you interpreted the sketch...your masked off stencil worked perfectly!! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Your heat-embossed stenciling was the perfect way to interpret the strips on the sketch! Such an elegant card! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
I really like your take on the sketch Bobby! The stenciling adds a lovely background to show off your beautiful poinsettia! xx
