Just Us Girls #794 - CASE a Designer

It's the fifth Thursday in October which means it's a CASE the Designer Challenge at Just Us Girls.

My dear friend Michele knows how much I love daisies and gifted me with Altenew's Oxeye Daisy stamp/stencil/die set for my birthday.  I have three cards made from the set to give you options.  Up first is my favorite.

It's my favorite because it's the traditional color of daisies. A little Lost Shadow for shading and some Altenew ink gave me the look I wanted.  What I didn't like was the white outline from the die cut.  Artist Markers to the rescue.  Galactic Stream was the perfect match to C9's Peacock that was cut with an MFT Elegant rectangle.  (It looks darker in the photo).

This one looks more like a black-eyed Susan.  The Starlight marker worked beautifully with PTI's Enchanted Evening.

This is actually the first one I made, using the stencils as they are meant to be used.  On the others I eliminated the shading layer.  Here the image is stamped directly onto a panel which was embossed with the Honey Bee burlap folder before adding to a Saffron card base.

If these cards aren't your style, the Design Team has a great array of cards for you to CASE (Copy and selectively edit).  Pick one, let us know who if it's not obvious, and enter it in the gallery.  We'd love to see how you are inspired by our cards.

These are just beautiful!!! Dry embossing the stenciled image is genius, what a great effect. I must remember that, thanks for the inspiration, my friend!

Wow, love all 3 of your cards, but I am with you, the first one is my favorite also. They are all colored beautifully. That was a very nice gift you received and it was put to very good use.

They're all fabulous, Bobby but I think the "black-eyed Susan" version is my favorite! They look beautiful on the navy background!
