The Paper Players #764

I had some lull time today and went looking for a card challenge.  The Paper Players had one that brought to mind a die set I had been meaning to use.

The bulbs are from Lawn Fawn and I wanted to make them from Treasure Cardstock from Spellbinders.  I had the blue and red but wanted yellow so I used an Altenew artist marker in Lemon Yellow to color the Antique Treasure cs and used the matte metallic from each pack for the bottom layer that shows through as a highlight.  What looks like black on my card is actually silver from Recollections, used for the string, bulb tops and border.  The sentiment is from Concord and 9th.

Thanks for dropping by and sharing a little piece of your day with me.

The struggle with photographing foil is real, Bobby! But I see that silver and love all your sparkle!

Bobby, those sparkly tree lights are fabulous! I agree with Michele, foil and metallics are the hardest things to photograph. But I'm sure it looks gorgeous in person. Thank you so much for joining my CAS challenge at the Paper Players this week!

Such pretty, sparkly lights, Bobby! I can see all the sparkle and I'm sure the shine of the foil is amazing! It's hard to get good pictures of sparkle and shine!

I too struggle photographing ANYTHING silver Bobby...sparkly, mirror or matte! The bulb colors are so fun and festive though and the CAS layout is perfection! Sweet, sweet card my friend!! Hugs. :0)

I just had that problem with a silver strip on one of my cards too! I see the silver here and it looks terrific topping those sparkly ornaments!
