I knew right away what I would do with the theme at Christmas Kickstart.
They want images wearing a hat and I couldn't think of a better one than Penny Black's
Snowy.
I paper pieced his hat and scarf with some Gingham from Honey Bee and added
Fluff it Paste to his brim and pom pom. The background is a press plate from Spellbinders called
Snowflake Shimmer and was pressed with Unicorn White on SB Celestial. To keep Snowy from fading into the snow, I put him on a vellum
Stylish Oval from SB. The sentiment is from PFS.

He's SNOW cute! I love him and his furry cap. The vellum behind him is a great "home" for him, letting the snowflakes shine too
Snowy is perfect for this theme. I love his paper-pieced gingham hat and scarf. Your idea to place him on the vellum oval is perfect and the pressed background is lovely to showcase him on.
Snowy is always a favorite and that's a wonderful background for him! The vellum adds a wonderful dreamy look too!
