My daughter needed some sympathy cards and raided my stash. That means I need to make more to replenish it. The technique at Group of Seven Cardmakers was a great one to do just that.
I tore a piece of wide mint tape, placed a piece at the top and bottom of my cardstock and blended Distress Inks between. The bird and branch from SSS were cut from black cardstock. The sentiment is from Honey Bee.
I did a second one, changing up the ink a little and adding a silhouette die cut from Penny Black. The sentiment is another one from Honey Bee's dragonfly set.
These are QACAS when the need arises although there are other ways to use the torn edge technique on the Go7 blog. Be sure to check them out.
