I must admit that I LOVE hardware stores, or better yet the big box stores like Home Depot, Lowe's and Menards. I could meander for hours just looking at all the neat things and thinking of ways I could use them, whether in art or home decor.
This week, the challenge at Less is More is "Hardware". I was tempted to do a Cricut image for a tool but I didn't think that was what they wanted since they mentioned brads, studs, charms, staples and clips. When I saw "clips" I rememebered the box I bought sometime ago because I thought they would look good on a layout to hold memorabilia. I decided to use one on my card.
The paper is from a PTI 8 x 8 stack called Text Style. I used a notebook punch on the lined paper and stamped the sentiment in Broken China Distress Ink. The paper is popped up on foam to allow for the part of the clip that is underneath. I love the colors. It's a very masculine card that was so simple.
I'm also going to enter this into the Paper Playtime "Anything Goes" challenge.
This is so different love it. Caroline xxx
