Running in Circles

I have so many things in my head, I'm running like a dog chasing her tail.  I had art class this morning and need to make muffins for the Community Soup Supper at the church on Thursday.  I'm in charge of the program for our women's luncheon next Wednesday so I've been making gifts for the Christmas bingo I made several years ago.  I have to finish the quilted Christmas ornaments for each of my grandchildren plus a few extra for special people and then there are two quilts to make for great grandbabies due in the Spring.  (Yes, I said "great" grandbabies).  All that and make my Christmas cards.  I usually make them all the same but maybe the challenges will provide me with a few others that I can use.

Today's card is for the challenge at Friday Mashup.  They wanted us to use a non-holiday image on a holiday card.  I didn't do the mash part (use a messy technique).  I had a difficult enough time coming up with an image.  After perusing some of my Cricut manuals, I settled on this card.  I rather like it.

The little train is on the Create a Critter cartridge.  I embossed the top layer with the Candy Cane folder.  The sentiment was printed on the computer and hand cut to fit the little car.  The ribbon was also from the same cartridge, trimmed up.  Both the ribbon and the roof are from sparkly green paper, the rest from scraps.

I am also entering this in the Pause Dream Enjoy challenge - Anything Goes
and My Sheri Crafts - 'Tis the Season.

Gotta run, but which way?  Hmm, I don't need the muffins until Thursday.   I'm waiting on some quilt fabric due to arrive by mail any day now so I'll put that off.  Guess I'll go finish binding the ornaments - unless my tail distracts me in another direction.

Phew, I'm tired just from reading about all you have to do :)

I just love this little train! We are big on trains in my house, the Alaska railroad runs right behind our house, so I might have to pull out my Create A Critter and CASE your card!

Thanks so much for joining us at The Friday Mashup!
