We spent yesterday at the lake, raking leaves, turning on the water and putting in the dock. It could have been a little nicer weather but it was okay for working. It may be a while before we get back up there again but I do have to go clear out all the cobwebs and dust from the cottage and make all the beds.
I started a card on Friday for CASology and finished it last night to post today. The word is:
I have a lot of flower cuts for my Cricut but I chose this one from Lyrical Letters.
It's cut from shimmery green cardstock. I colored the background of the blooms with a brush marker. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and stamped with their Field Greens ink and VersaMark so I could clear emboss it to give a shine similar to the card stock. It doesn't show in the photo but the shimmer adds a little something something to the card.
No, I didn't photograph it on the lawn, as if our lawn looked that good. ;) That's just grass paper

LOL! My lawn doesn't look that good either - I was going to ask for some tips! This is a lovely card - what a pretty cut! I love how you've nestled the sentiment in. Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!
The grass does look pretty real! Great take on the cue card this week! So glad you joined in on the fun at CASology this week!
Yeah, I wish my lawn ever looked that good! Your card is so pretty, I love the shiny green! Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!
This is so pretty! Love your color choices & can just imagine the shimmer. So jealous you have a cabin on a lake--that's our dream, but for now it's just day trips with the boat moored.
what a pretty card... thanks so much for playing along with CASology!
This is so pretty. What an amazingly intricate die cut. It really makes such a statement on your card.
