I got some new stamps (and dies) from My Craft Spot and decided that the postmark would work well for the circles on the sketch. There is also a script background stamp that I used on the banner, and a "happy." The "birthday" is from their Tickets set that coordinates with the Stamps set. The colored strip is from s pad of Echo Park paper. I inked everything with Walnut Distress Ink and popped up the banner on foam tape.
I told myself that I was going to spend this afternoon learning how to use my Silhouette Portrait. Stephanie at Cricutmimi won a Portrait the month after I did and she's already making projects. Not that I"m in competition or anything but I'd better get busy. Users's Manual, here I come!

Hey Bobby! I love how you used the postal images for the circles and the french script stamping on the long pieces and adhered on the kraft coloured paper, is very cool! Thanks for playing with us at Seize the Birthday!
Rainy days always make me want to hide in my craft room, Bobby! Love what you created on your rainy day, especially the distressed kraft background. Thanks for sharing your creation with us at The Paper Players!

I LOVE this, Bobby!! The vintage look is fantastic and that strip of Echo Park paper works so perfectly! Fabulous card!
