The challenge word at Addicted to CAS this week is
With four teenage grandchildren, three of them girls, this was easy for me. What runs their life? Why a cell phone, of course. Here's my version.
I used George and Basic Shapes to make the phone so that it has a back, frame, screen and screen cover. I used some clear packaging to make the screen cover and you can see it in this photo.
I wanted to include a text message, so I used something I've seen the kids do on FaceBook, which is actually a FB thing and not necessarily a phone thing but you get the idea. And more importantly, any teenager would get it, especially the girls.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

As the mother of three young-adult BOYS this appeals, too! Love the clear screen and the elegant phone-sleeve! THanks for your comment on my Freshly Made Sketches post this week.
Brilliant, Bobby, Brilliant!!! So in tune with the younger generation -- they will so 'get' this card! LOL. Love the zebra case you've made for the phone. It's so perfect, and I have one granddaughter who would adore this. It would match the zebra stripes on her bedroom wall!! Have a great weekend. Bev
This is so fun! Most kids use their phones to update FB so I say it works - and is a great idea!! Your phone looks super too! I love the zebra skin!
Your granddaughter and mine would have to fight over it, Bev. Anneka has zebra curtains in her room. You have a good weekend, too, and happy crafting.
Very clever card and fits the cue word perfectly.
This is such a great card for a teenager and lovely CAS! So sorry for being late visiting your blog. Thank you for joining us at ATCAS.
