I'm sure glad I got a lot of crafting done over the weekend since this week looks rather busy. After reading some blogs and checking out a couple of new-to-me (well I knew about them but never entered) challenges that I want to enter this week, it will get even busier. I usually find the busier I am, the more I get done. I hope that still holds true.
The first card up today is for the challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch.
The thing that was stumping me in this sketch was the little "button" elements. Then a little die cut from a previous card (so long ago I don't remember) showed up on my desk and bingo! I had my idea. I told you I needed some get well cards . . .
The sun is what showed up and I cut a cloud from a PTI die to go with it. I also had the blue cloud-embossed piece in my stash. I think I was trying out a new embossing folder and then didn't use it. I picked out a yellow polka dot to go with it and stamped a sentiment from PTI's Healing Touch Sentiments. This card is going out in the mail today.
Next up is my card for CASE Study.
A while ago I won a $150 gift certificate to PaperTrey Ink and Polka Dot Basics is one of the stamp sets I bought. I love a good polka dot (*_*). With a stamp I couldn't go off the edge so I put a piece of coordinating paper there. It really is the same color as the medium size dots IRL. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted's "Happy Days". I added a couple of rust colored die cut hearts from SSS and it's done.
Thank you for stopping by. Please leave a comment to let me know you were here and I'll return the favor. May your day be all you hope it will be.
