JUGS #208

This will be my first time playing along with Just Us Girls (JUGS) but I couldn't resist when I saw their inspiration photo.

I really wanted to do a barn since I have a "thing" for them.  I take pictures of them, have several paintings, and even a couple of books about barns.  But. . .I couldn't think of a good way to do one. Another thing I like is old rusty stuff, so that's the direction I ended up taking.

The truck is cut from Nifty Fifties and inked with a variety Distress Inks.  It's mounted on foam tape above some gravely looking paper. The big stumbling block to making cards like this is coming up with an appropriate sentiment.  I thought this fit.  Inside it says "Certainly not you!  Happy Birthday".

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you find inspiration in the things around you.

Your truck looks amazing - and that gravel road paper is fantastic!
