CAS on Sunday #22

I've had this card on my desk for a while now, just waiting for a challenge that it fits.

I got the SSS falling snow stencil in my recent order and had to try it out right away.  Instead of using embossing paste, I just dabbed VersaMark over it, embossed with white and covered the sky with Distress Ink.  The snowman is cut from MS Seasonal Cricut cartridge.  His hat is embossed with black, his eyes and mouth are Enamel Accents.  I colored some white Enamel Accents for his nose.  A little red and white twine and this frosty fellow is complete. I think he fits the challenge at CAS on Sunday - winter theme.

Speaking of winter, our weather has been all over the place; snow, sleet and rain all in one day.  I swear I saw lightening last night. Today is clear but cold so I'm hoping to do some shopping.  Who knows what tomorrow will bring in Michigan.

Thanks for stopping by and if you are in a cold zone, stay safe and keep warm.

I love your use of the stencil! It's been on my wishlist for awhile, but I just didn't want to invest in embossing paste. You've shown me that it works well with versamark and embossing powder - I like the softness of it.
