It's the beginning of a new week and a great week it will be. My calendar is clear so I should have time for crafting although I do have a wedding dress to alter. I'm planning to make cards in the morning and evening and sew in the afternoons. Let's see how that works. *_*
I have two cards for today's post so that I get them in to the challenges on time. The first is for CASE Study. I must admit I stared at Shari Carroll's card for some time before inspiration hit.
What do I see? Circles. Butterflies. Newsprint. Aha!!
Using the Extra Large Dot stencil from SSS and Mustard Seed Distress Ink, I created my background. The Memory Box butterfly was inked with Mustard Seed and Ripe Persimmon and overlaid with black. The sentiment is from Winnie & Walter's Big, Bold and Extra, white embossed on black and mounted on foam tape. I even sneaked in a few Scattered Straw butterflies with a PTI stamp on three of the circles.
Now for my CASE This Sketch card.
This is a rather funky sketch and while I thought of using flowers for the circle, I decided on the Scribbles from PTI.
I will be needing a couple of anniversary cards in September so I used my NBUS stamp from PTI. Some bright Hero Arts colors make it cheerful and fun.
I'm so glad you stopped by. I hope you leave a comment to let me know you were here.
