AAA #29

Do you know what this is?

Besides a bad photo, that is.  It a beautiful little outdoor tree down the street from us.  Even using my fireworks setting I couldn't get a good picture after dark.  Why am I showing you this?  Because it was the inspiration for my card for AAA this week - Blue Christmas.

I used a stamp from Penny Black, stamped in Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink, covered with sticky embossing powder and sprinkled liberally with the only glitter I have besides clear.  I was just testing the technique and was really pleased with the result.  I cut an oval in the top layer and then an oval frame from blue foil.  The sentiment from Penny Black is stamped in HA Navy.  I wish you could see both my card and the little tree IRL.

Thanks for stopping by.  Your visits and comments are always appreciated.

I can't say that I have ever been inspired by a blurry photo - but this is wonderful! What a great display of color with that glitter!
