CASology #134 and SSSW

There was some debate over at CASology as to what monochrome means and how that would transfer onto a card.  To me it means different shades of only one color and that's what I used to make my entry.

I used a variety of grays with my SSS die, including PTI Soft Stone for the card base, SSS Fog, Smoke and Slate for the two panels and branches, some snippets of other grays for the bird and leaves, and HA Charcoal for my Penny Black Sentiment.  The second panel is embossed with Forest Branches.

Since there is texture in the embossing and layers, I'm also sending this to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - add a little texture.

Thanks for stopping by,  You visits and comments are always appreciated.

How pretty your 'shades of grey' card is, Bobby! I, too, wasn't sure about monochromatic, so I sought out google images, winding up with a whole bunch of interpretations. Hope that what I share will 'fit' the challenge...
