LIM #213 and Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

The challenge this week at Less Is More is "This makes me happy".  There are a lot of things that could go on the list but I bought this stamp a while ago just because it spoke to me.  It's a wood stamp which I never buy and may never use again.  It sits on my shelf to enjoy as is.

If the letters look a little shaky it's because the stamp was made that way.  I used HA Soft Granite and SSS Lipstick Red ink. The shape is cut with the slope die from SSS and foam mounted on Lipstick Red cardstock.  Though I'm not a sequin girl, I did add a few just to spark it up.

My next card is my infiltration into the Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop.  I don't drink coffee and rarely drink tea but I still wanted to participate.  I wasn't sure I had anything that would work until I remembered this stamp from Hero Arts. Mixed with a stencil from Tim Holtz, it makes a perfect card for the hop.

I'm sure this is the philosophy of many of the cardmakers who are hopping.

Thanks for stopping by.  Get out there and paint your dreams, sing your songs and enjoy a "happy" dance.  ( I had to add that last part for Bev. )

So glad you're hopping along, Bobby! You've made two sweet cards, and I love that stamp on your first card. That sentiment is just so true; we need to remember that more often! And yep. You're spot on with your second card! I've got my second cup sitting right beside me, lol! Love the colors too. Have a great weekend. Bev

Delighted to see you joining the coffee hop - and with a card that's just fabulous! The aqua/brown combination is marvelous! The sentiment on your first creation, especially with Art stamped in red, is wonderful - as a card and in the message conveyed!

Love both of these, Bobby! The die cut you used on the first card totally compliments that sentiment and the pop of red in with the grey is perfect! The colour combo on the second card is so yummy although all these coffee cards floating around are not conducive to curbing my addiction!! LOL!

Oh that H.A. stamp is really fabulous, Bobby... maybe we should have a swap-meet in the Spring? Love how you have given it such a gorgeous stage. And your second sentiment, though not true for you, is just perfect for the Hop, and perfect in every way! =] Michele
