MIM #203

I didn't think I was going to be able to make a card for the challenge at Make It Monday this week.  Ashley had a video about doodling around a stamped image and I didn't think I had any PTI stamps that would work for this technique.  I thought I'd just play around with Beautiful Blooms and see what happened and was delighted with the result.

I used HA Soft Lavendar and Butter Bar ink  The black doodling really makes the flowers stand out. I loved the bright polka dot look so added some PTI bitty dot paper as a frame to tie it all together.

This was so much fun I tried it again with Beautiful Brushstrokes.

Different flowers give a totally different look.  I have a feeling I will be using this technique again and again..

Thanks for stopping by.

It's really amazing what a difference it makes! I have to try this on my tons of NBUS flower stamps! Thank you for the beautiful inspiration, Bobby! Hugs, Darnell

I was hoping to play along with this challenge, but I think time has run out - love your sketchy flowers!
