TIME OUT #31 and AAA #40

I had a lot of fun doing a card for TIME OUT.  Their theme is "Grunge, with the optional twist of embossing."

I made this so long ago I'm not sure I can remember what I did ;)  Let's just say I used Distress Inks in Frayed Burlap, Iced Spruce, Old Paper and Antique Linen; a background stamp from MFT, a butterfly from Snippets, and a splatter stencil from Tim Holtz.  The sentiment from My Craft Spot is white embossed on Slate cardstock and popped up on foam tape.  I think there's even a little script stamp in there by PTI. Grungy enough for you?

I think grunge is perfect for a guy card so I'm sending this over to AAA.

Thanks for stopping by.

It wasn't on standby, Sandie. I actually made it for TIME OUT but just never posted it.

Bobby, your combination of textures and images makes for one stand-out grunge card. The butterfly: YES!

That texture-y burlap background with all those splatters and splashes and collage stamping is fabulous paired with those 'random' popped up sentiment panels! Yep, you do grunge brilliantly! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out! Anita :)
