HLS Christmas in July

Happy Little Stampers.  Doesn't that just conjure up images of little artists holed away in their craft rooms, ink on their fingers, smiles on their faces.  That's pretty much all of us, right?  HLS has three different challenges that they run monthly and today's card is for the Christmas challenge - tree.

A Penny Black stamp was silver embossed along with a Hero Arts sentiment on watercolor paper. Then the fun began.  I laid down some  Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress Inks on my craft sheet and gave them a generous spritz of water.  The paper was then smooshed into the color numerous times until I was satisfied with the background.  A border of silver was added before mounting the panel on Simply Chartreuse cardstock. Oh, yeah, I did some Kristina Werner water dropping, too. And some splattering of the remaining ink.

I'm so glad you stopped by.
