Addicted to Stamps and More #179

It's CAS week over at Addicted to Stamps and More.  Our sponsor is A Day for Daisies and the winner of the challenge will get a $12 gift certificate to their store.

I needed a card for a lovely lady who will be turning 95 next week and I made this for her.
Both the background and number paper are from PTI.  The 'fabulous' die is from Essentials by Ellen, cut from metallic paper and layered several times. It's mounted on some torn vellum and silver thread.  I didn't have an 'at' stamp or die so I cut the word Christmas from an E by E set, since they are both in Julie's handwriting, and cut it apart to spell the word,  I also layered the number dies from MFT.

What will you make for the challenge?  If you need inspiration, check out what the rest of the Design Team has for you and I hope to see you in the gallery.

Wow, 95, what an impressive age! I don´t know if there are those cards with the wheels on them everywhere in the world, but in Germany you can buy cards where you can adjust the year to show the right one for the Birthday kid. ... so strange and what a wonderful way to make a personalized card just for that very special person. I love the colours of your card a lot! Hugs from your ATSM team-mate stempelfrida

Hello wonderful Bobbi! Hanging my head in shame at being so behind in commenting; life’s been supremely hectic, what with work, travel (which involved work…crazy amounts!), DT commitments (which I’ve fallen behind in, too) and a plethora of other stuff! I hope that my ‘thought bubbles of love’ for all your cards have reached you, because I send them frequently! Starting with a fresh slate with a goal to staying caught up. Your friend will adore this card, as do I. That fabulous IS fabulous!
Hugs~c

Great card for a 95 year old (or anyone)!! Your ingenuity at coming up with "at" is wonderful, I also enjoy the torn vellum, the string, and that delightful paper from PTI!
