I did some thinking on this one but finally came up with a card for CAS(E) This Sketch.
I die cut the candles from PTI and then backed them with some fun paper that I thought would make a great masculine card. The flames are glitter paper and the 3 deep stacked sentiment by Elizabeth Crafts has a metallic finish.
I'm glad you dropped by.
Very cute Bobby, love the polka dot candles!ReplyDelete
LOVE your interpretation of the sketch Bobby! Awesome card. xxReplyDelete
Brilliant use of the sketch. I have done something similar way back with candles, but never with the negative of the die like you did. Really love that twist.ReplyDelete
Darling idea! and a lovely touch in the gallery this week! Thank you!ReplyDelete
Super card! I love the dimension you've created by adding paper behind the negative space and by stacking your word dies. Looks fabulous!ReplyDelete
Oh, this is perfect, Bobby! I love your fun candles and that word die, too!ReplyDelete
You aced this sketch, Bobby! I spent too much time figuring out what to do that I wound up with nothing! Sigh! I think I left my mojo at last weekend's bike races; hope to pick it up at this weekend's event!ReplyDelete
Yup - it's a brilliant masculine card! Love those papers and the glittery flames!ReplyDelete
I love the way you filled that negative space Bobby! One of my favorite design tools!ReplyDelete
