Just Us Girls #358

It's photo challenge week at Just Us Girls and the photo Judy picked has a lot to inspire you.
I wanted to try and make a background with wavy lines and different colors. After much thinking and some practicing I made one with the embossing folder print technique.
I wiped 4 different Distress Inks on the Forest Branches folder and pressed my cardstock into it.  After adding the sentiment from PB, I stamped some little butterflies in colors similar to the background and made a larger die cut one for the top.

There's plenty of inspiration for you at the challenge blog so go take a look and then look hard at the photo and see it there isn't something that catches your eye that you would like to make a card with.  If you are chosen Chic of the Week you could be our next Guest Designer like Colleen Foelker.

Bobby this is a gorgeous card ... so it was just pressed, not run through a machine? Pardon me, I must go back for a second, or third look! xx

Brilliant! Your waves of colors are fabulous, Bobby! Such a clever way to create them; will try that with a similar folder, though it probably won't look nearly as cool as yours. Sweet butterflies, and I love the way the large one starts out as yellow then blends into green - just like your colors! Gorgeous. Bev

Bobby, I guess two minds are thinking along the same line...butterflies!! That is what I saw too, but your background is sure gorgeous! I love how you made it! Thank you for allowing me to play alongside you this month of August. It has been a joy and delight to be in the lineup with you and the other designers...you are all so talented! Heart Hugs, Colleen

Bobby, your card is absolutely stunning!! LOVE the way you've blended the colors so effortlessly on your background! And using an embossing folder as your 'stamp' was pure genius! The butterflies and sentiment go so well together!
