I was gone for almost two weeks, having fun with family and relaxing at the lake. I missed making card (everything you saw was a scheduled post) and should have taken some of my coloring with me to do in down times. I kept thinking "I could be making a card right now". Is that an addiction? 😧
The first card I did make when I got home was for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch.
Karen's credit card technique and wasn't sure what I'd do with it. I decided to cut it up with SSS stitched rectangles, glue them on some PTI Fine Linen paper and add the die cut from CP in Chocolate. I have a piece left over that you will see in another card some day.
I'll be heading back up to the lake in a few days and have so much to catch up on here at home, plus an art project to hang in the cottage. I'll sneak in a little more card making but will get back into it more fully next week when my niece, her husband and friends use the cottage for a week. She lives in California now but spent a lot of summers at the lake and wants to reconnect with friends living here by sharing time with them there.
Thanks for dropping by. I'm way behind in commenting but I'll get to you soon, I promise.

Great take on the sketch, Bobby!ReplyDelete
When you feel like you need a little craft time you should head to Arnie's in Houghton Lake. It's not that far away. I LOVE this card and have pinned. It looks pretty easy, but really showcases those gorgeous panels. Great inspiration!!!ReplyDelete
Great take on that sketch Bobby and WOW! what a fabulous cas card. Those panels are in such lovely soft colours.ReplyDelete
I love those colors, Bobby! And your take on this sketch is just brilliant. The way you've placed your sentiment over the panels mimics Hannelie's branch perfectly. What a wonderful card!! Life at the lake sounds so relaxing and fun! Enjoy your time there!! BevReplyDelete

What a great way to use the credit card swipe technique, Bobby!! Hope you had a wonderful vacation. I'm always behind on my commenting, but not because I'm away on vacation ... it just seems to happen A LOT! :) xxReplyDelete
Those panels are so eye catching, Bobby ... seems there's a shimmery pearlescence about them ... unless it's my eyes/computer. Either way, they're delicious! Enjoy your time at the lake ... we'll all be around when you get back! Hugs, Anita :)ReplyDelete
