It took a while to find something to do for this unusual sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch
. Not quite as easy as the week before.
Then it hit me!
I cut the MFT glasses from some blue shimmer paper although it doesn't show up well in the photo. For the lenses, I cut again in vellum that I colored with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. The sentiment was computer generated.
Thanks for dropping by. Now that the cottage is shut down for the winter you will see me around more often.
What a great take on the sketch, Bobby! I'd have never thought to use these glasses, and it's such a great idea!! Love the 'rose-colored' glasses and the wonderful sentiment. GREAT card!! BevReplyDelete
What a FUN take on the sketch!! Love it Bobby!ReplyDelete
I second Bev: sheer brilliance! Rose-coloured and definitely stylish!ReplyDelete
You are so clever with this cool card Bobby. Love it!ReplyDelete
Cute, fun, stylish and so clever, Bobby ... it's brilliant! Hugs, Anita :)ReplyDelete
Hey Bobby! Oh my, I just love this! What a clever card with the sentiment you designed. Making the lenses rose colored is such a great and intentional use of that die. Hope summer was well for you. Getting back to a routine is always bittersweet for me, but I guess it means more time in the craft room : )ReplyDelete
Too darn cute...love your spin on this challenge!ReplyDelete
