Is is any wonder that my teamie from The Flower Challenge has flowers as her inspiration as we CASE her design at Less Is More? Here is Aileen's card.
She used Copic markers on her flowers but I decided to just stamp mine.
The layered flowers are from Altenew stamped in their inks. Before placing them on the card I embossed a die to make a frame and then cut the SSS word die several times with the top layer being a shimmer paper.
Blue is such an appropriate color for my post today with all the news that has saddened my heart. Ken's brother-in-law passed away yesterday after falling off a roof. The skull fracture and internal bleeding were so severe that there was little chance of recovery. Then this morning I got the prayer chain from church and a dear elderly lady friend fell yesterday and broke her hip, wrist and fractured her pelvis. Just one of these injuries is a lot for a 90+ year old and having gone through it with my mother I know the toll it takes. It goes without saying that I will be offering up a lot of prayers today.

This is beautiful, Bobby ... the dimension in the blooms is gorgeous ... fabulous with the delicate embossed frame and the shimmery sentiment! I'm so sorry to read about your sad and shocking news ... adding my prayers to yours, my friend. Hugs, Anita :)
Beautiful card Bobby. Sad to read about unfortunate brother-in-law and the old lady. Hugs Ela
Your cards are pretty Bobby, wonderful shades of blue! I'm so very sorry to hear all of this sad new. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Such a beautiful card Bobby, your layer stamping is perfectly done. I so struggle with my layer stamping that my altenew layer stamps tend to sit and wait for me to get inspired. Love the blues you used.
Im so sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, my thoughts go out to you and your family and to the poor lady who has had a fall as I know what you mean about them being so frail. Lots of hugs Aileen
Delightful make and lovely colouring

Blue isn't my color, but you sure make a girl question her taste ... gorgeous card.

So sorry for your loss, my thoughts are with you. You've made such a gorgeous CASE of Aileen's card with those beautiful shades of blue. And I love your die embossed frame, it makes the card even more elegant and chic. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.
Your CASE is beautiful, Bobby! I'm so very sorry to hear about Ken's BIL. What a terrible tragedy. And as one with a dear 92-yo friend, I am sorry to hear about your friend's fall and injuries. I'm offering prayers for her and for your family. Love and hugs, Darnell
